Gordon Legal Geelong lawyers: fighting for the community

Geelong lawyer Rachel Schutze is a leading personal injury lawyer. Rachel brought her legal expertise to the area over 15 years ago and is proud to live, work and raise her three children here. She heads the Gordon Legal Geelong office in Moorabool Street, writes regularly for the local paper, and fights tirelessly for justice and compensation on behalf of her clients and community.

Rachel defines success for her clients as, “achieving the best results in the shortest amount of time with great service at a low cost”.

Rachel has a Law degree (LLB) from Monash University, a Masters of Law from Melbourne University (LLM), has completed the Harvard Negotiation Skills course in alternative dispute resolution and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors Course (GAICD).

On top of her qualifications, Rachel represents Gordon Legal in Geelong because of her like minded and personal approach to the law. "For all of us here, it’s about the people and the community we represent". Over her years as a lawyer she has assisted thousands of clients while growing and managing one of Australia’s largest regional offices. She’s well-respected in Geelong and abroad for her work assisting people who have been injured, and for achieving significant financial outcomes on their behalf.

We’re excited to bring our compassionate and personal style of legal help to Geelong and, as Rachel puts it; “We are growing all the time. Gordon Legal has received many resumes from talented legal staff looking to work and live in Geelong.”

Having a local lawyer who actually lives and works in the area matters. We believe that everyone deserves to be represented by somebody who can understand and empathise with the issues they and their community are facing.

Rachel contributes fortnightly opinion pieces for the Advertiser on everything from footy to family to relevant legal issues, and is always keeping up with what matters to the locals. You can have a read below:

Geelong is my home and I have a strong commitment to assisting the people of this community who are injured at work, on the road or in other circumstances. I have built a strong reputation in Geelong for assisting injured people and I want to continue that work with Gordon Legal.
