Xavier Kerlin

Xavier joined Gordon Legal as a Senior Associate in the Class Actions practice in 2026. Prior to this he worked in the disputes team at a national law firm for seven years.

Xavier has experience in commercial litigation matters in VCAT, the Supreme and County Courts of Victoria, and the Federal Court of Australia. He has appeared in interlocutory applications and has instructed Senior Counsel at several trials.

Xavier advises clients on financial services and corporate law matters, including regulatory compliance, consumer law and contractual disputes.

He has an interest in complex litigation and is committed to achieving meaningful outcomes for clients through strategic, collaborative legal practice. Having grown up in rural Victoria, he is motivated to improve access to justice for individuals and communities facing barriers to pursuing complex claims.

Xavier holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne (2013) and a Juris Doctor from Monash University (2017).
